Argyle chairman says preparations underway for next season

It's just six weeks to the beginning of the football season and Argyle has no season tickets and very few players.

Sponsorship and kit also needs to be finalised.

A final deal with a mystery consortium still hasn't been signed, but the plan is that acting chairman Peter Ridsdale will own the football club and lease the stadium from the group.

Fans are being invited to a meeting at the Guildhall with administrator Brendan Guilfoyle and acting chairman Peter Ridsdale. City council leader Vivien Pengelly will also attend.

The meeting takes place at the Lower Guildhall at 7pm.
