A 55 year old man from Keyham has been found dead in a car near Shaugh Prior.

He had been declared missing early yesterday morning and was considered high risk.

At around 10.30 yesterday morning, police were called to Beatland Cross at Shaugh Prior to reports that a car had been found with a body inside.

The death is not being treated as suspicious - as the man was already a missing person, the incident has been referred to the independent police complaints commission.
