Man appears in court accused of raping teenage girl

A Plymouth man accused of repeatedly raping a teenage girl is due to enter a plea at the crown court today.

Former royal navy sailor Mark Butler didn't enter a plea when he appeared before magistrates charged with four counts of rape against a girl under the age of 16.

The court referred his case straight to the crown court.

Butler's accused of raping the girl repeatedly between 2006 and 2009.

The 48 year old's also accused of sexually assaulting the same girl between 2005 and 2007 - and making indecent videos of her.

Butler's due to enter his plea today .
