An investigation's been launched after a man fell to his death from a house window in Plymouth.

Police were called to Devonport Road at 8:40am yesterday morning to reports that a man had fallen from a window.

Officers say the man, who's believed to be in his 70s, was dead when they arrived at the scene.

Police are trying to determine the circumstances behind his fall.
