A man has died after falling two hundred feet from a crane on a Plymouth building site.

Police were called to Sutton Road at Coxside at twenty to seven last night after members of the public spotted him climbing the structure.

Officers were unable to communicate with the man and had called the fire brigade when he fell to his death.

The man was in his 40s and his next of kin are being contacted.
