More investment for Argyle

Plymouth Argyle owner James Brent has raised more than £700,000 for the club.

Most of the money's come from investment by Mr Brent and director Richard Holliday.

A company owned by the two - and lawyer Anthony Vaughan - has bought the car park and surplus land at Home Park for £425,000.

Holliday and Vaughan have also bought shares in the club worth £275,000.

The group has agreed to invest in a new grandstand at Home Park at no charge or give Argyle half their profits if they fail to do so.
