Three Plymouth schools to get revamp

Three schools in Stoke will benefit from over £180,000 worth of improvements thanks to a development agreement.

Plymouth City Council have negotiated a deal that will see improvements made to Stoke Damerel Community College, Ford Primary and Stuart Road Primary schools.

The deal, known as a Section 106 agreement, is a legal agreement between local planning authorities and developers.

As well as school improvements, they can also lead to new play areas and traffic measures.

The schools will see improvements to classrooms and halls and the creation of new education spaces.
