I've been working in local radio in the South West for nearly 20 years now and I just love it! There's nothing like getting under the skin of a great city like Plymouth, talking about the things that matter to everyone and playing some great tunes too! 

My radio career didn't really start out in a conventional way, more by chance really, I'd done a few shows on Hospital Radio and happened to be making the tea a local radio station when the evening presenter turned up ‘a little worse for wear' ... cue my ‘big' break!

Since then I've done quite a few radio jobs including reading the news, presenting breakfast shows on radio stations in the South West for 12 years and being the boss of a radio station in Somerset. I think the most random part of my career so far was when one of my old bosses thought it would be a good idea to do a whole 4 hour breakfast show live from an outdoor swimming pool in November, now I'm not one for complaining but that was 7 years ago and I think I'm still thawing out!
