I am Plymouth born and bred. I grew up in Elburton with two ambitions; to become as successful in business as Richard Branson and to host my own radio show on local radio. 

I grew up listening to the likes of Ian Calvert and spent hours, from the age of 7, recording and sending demo tapes to everyone who I thought may give me a break. Some years later I was fortunate enough to get my break into radio in New Zealand.

I became the, 'Travel Guy' on a network of radio stations, flying out in a tiny plane in the early morning reporting on road traffic. I finally landed a dream job hosting my own Breakfast Show on the West Coast of NZ. For nearly 8 years I loved overseas life travelling through Canada, USA, Fiji and Asia, living in Australia for a year and working as an extra for 3-months on 'Home and Away'. I got to meet Alf, Vinnie, Irene and all the cast and I even made the national press a couple of times with a few after hours antics with Ryan (aka Vinnie and the girls)...

Home was always the West Country so I returned to Devon and am now thrilled to be a part of the Radio Plymouth family. I say family as that is what we have created; we are truly local and very passionate about Plymouth!
