Tony Blackburn is one of the most popular DJ's the UK has ever had. His career spans 45 years and, during that time, he has worked with some of the biggest Soul and Motown artists the world has ever known.

In the 1980's Tony was famous for his Radio London Soul Night Out - quite simply the biggest party in town; on one famous occasion Stevie Wonder turned up in person, in front of 7000 people, to thank Tony for all his work launching Soul and Motown artists in the UK.

Now Radio Plymouth and Tony will be recreating the excitement every Sunday at 4pm.

Expect all the great artists in Tony's personal record collection to be played out. This is a playlist free zone so anything that Tony and his audience loves will get played - Marvin Gaye, Smokey Robinson, Stevie Wonder, The Supremes, Diana Ross, The Jackson 5, Chaka Khan, Mariah Carey, JLS, Michael Jackson, Lemar... the list goes on and on and the hits come with them.
